Well, TT, as someone who most people don't get, it is refreshing to have someone who recognizes the different layers and elements I try to put in what I write - aside from the obvious (which is okay). I don't need the validation but it is nice to have it once in a while if only in realizing someone's enjoying what you're trying to do to the max.
Slick is good. I like that. I try to be faithful to the soul of my original inspiration as much as possible.
