and my heart beats so fast, yet I’m hardly weak.
With my team I find I’m a hikiness geek,
when we’re out together prancing peak to peak.

Oh we love to climb a mountain—
the highest peak we seek.
And no pill could thrill us half as much

But we’ve gotta watch for ticks ’n’
slith’ry creatures that could wreak
havoc on us as down they would touch
and lance us—bleed to leak.

Come on a prancing spree—
there ain’t no b’ars to get you;
no cars can get through;
get charmed by a yew.

’cause we’re hikin’, spritely hikin’.
So we start and go along beside the creek,
but we find that it ain’t hibernation week.
That big snout appears for champing,
snout is here for champing.
Ouch! That ursa’s snacking—eats my cheek.
