I will probably not be able to go online on Christmas Eve so I'm posting this song now, all but three days into casus belli of the yearly air raid event. It's dedicated to my muse somewhere up there in the land of Oz and eggnog and also to tin man Below Average Dave because the title swap idea came to me when I read his "Brainless on this Write" (and when I checked the naughty list, i.e the Amiright archives, I could hardly believe that it had never been done before). As for the original song it can be found en masse on YouTube, as for eggnog it will shortly be found en masse in my tube, ho-ho-ho!
Santa comes tonight – ruin' finances
Boosting family spite – can you say prancer?
There'll be ripping socks before the night is through
Something in his eyes – I think he's flighty
Something in his style – red, jolly whitey
Some things in his cart - I think he's sniffing glue
Santa comes tonight
To all the people pompous Santa comes tonight
Led by that Rudolph since his nose started to glow
Spittle out his hos
Man he comes in strange array
And claims he's jolly – i.e gay?

Nice Holiday sketches of humor
Peter - Very - very nice indeed. Has anyone ever told you that you have a n excellent command of the English language? IF you don't mind me asking how long have you spoken our language and how did you learn? My wife's maternal grandmother came from Sweden and the family name is Carlson. "ON" means Swede and "EN" means Dane, correct? Anyway they settled in Iowa in the late 1800's and the family now owns most of Hamilton county. Family reunions were so large that they actually hired a carnival for the event. Must be that cold Swede climate because northern Iowa has frosty winters as well.
I especially liked the "glue" and "gay" refs but shame on you for slamming Santa like that. =:-) Excellent Christmassy bit of writting. Merry Christmas by yimminey!
