Utterly amazing! Not that Colorado has made marajuana usage legal in private "clubs"...that was long expected. What's shocking is that not one amiright parodist has ever used the early jazz standard "The Darktown Strutter's Ball" as a tune for a submission! True, there are inherent problems...no two recordings are the same or even have the same number of syllables in each line. There are more lines that DON'T rhyme than rhyme. The version I'm using is by Fats Domino, typical in most respects. Dudes in Colorado...party on!!!
I'll be truckin' on down to Colorado
Bringin' my "papers" and all my "lids".
It's time to get "stoned", kids.
The whole state now has legal marajuana.
Smokin' "doobies" on the ski slopes, baby.
Gettin' "high' in Teluride - no rub!

Following your lyrics against the OS, I was a little put off pace by the changed rhymes. It seems you didn't retain a single word or phoneme from the original which made it hard to keep my bearings. Apart from that, an enjoyable little romp and gentle satire. 455.
