So, of techniques for baking I’m full;
of one I’m especially mindful:
For the bread to rise and grow—

The mass will not be overtopping
the pan, unless in it you’re popping
yeast to make the feast a go.

Now I believe I’ve got things right:
The oven’s on preheat to get warm.
It’s emitting a pleasant light…
the dough will enlarge in form.

Now the mass has started rising;
my spouse had been criticizing
my skills, but I plead: “Please stow
wretched jokes that you spoke. Let it go!”

Oops! It seems that things aren’t quite right.
Yes, measuring wasn’t true to form
The mass is attaining great height—
I sense an impending storm.

Whoa! the dough is too high rising,
and it is way oversizing.
I yell dear, “We had better go!”
Leavened dough’s measured faux. Then it blows!!
