'Critic' has right of free speech, called work "stale and odious"
I checked song - its theme unique, pacing was melodious,
Thought my take helped clarify hist'ry queer and murky.
Probability seems high - 'Critic' is a tu-urkey.
Spoofs should end when words run out - that is my contention,
Though AIR friends when piqued will spout Chuck's 10-line convention.
This bon mot might justify present scaled-down parody.
New rubric you might not know- let's call them ParedDown-ody.

Sub-moronic waste of time and with minimal effort
Oops! Giorgio Coniglio has notoriously misled his readers with this submission. Wikipedia reveals all, as per Patrick's recent on the history of Wenceslas himself. Apparently the "traditional" song was published by English composer John Neale in 1853. His piece, based on a Czech poem, with music from a medieval Latin 'spring-carol', was for a time derided as "ponderous moral doggerel". Looks like GC fell into the same trap.
Hear that creaking sound? It's John Neale turning in his grave at the sheer audacity being displayed here. What cheek! Zounds! Yipes!
Can't believe I missed this -- love "ParedDown-ody". And the comments are hilarious. Do you think he actually believes anyone doesn't know they're all by him?
