My view on daytime talk show hosts like Jerry Springer and Maury Povich, who high-rated shows continue to produce trash talking, chair smashing circuses to the chagrin of intelligent viewers.

How very accurate. That may be the stations' way of saving money. It is cheaper to produce talk shows than to show re runs and pay royalties. Do one more song about Oprah. She may appear to be generous, but she is so full of herself.
