Well said ... tho' I must say that, in his "Chairman of the Board" phase, I found Ol' Blue Eyes no more and maybe less entertaining than Joe Piscopo's impression of same. To my ears, Tony Bennet wore (wears!) better in the grvel days. :-)

Sir L'AIR, this is a fitting tribute to a master of American English! Many EuroImmigrants have told me that they learned & honed their English from listening to SINATRA ! I did get the chance to see Him, twice! Once here at CircleStarTheater in NorCAL, and once in LasVegas with J-ONE & ~JJ~ . It was phenominal experience . . . all around, Sir L'AIR ! My GrandPaw was a lot like him, too! (including the blueEyes!)
Ok, Ok, I admit that TonyB is a great singer, but the difference between him & TheChairMan is like CasaDores ~VS~ CABO-One, got it now, guys? ?
Thanks, Stan...everyone has their own favorite...I still ring for ring a ding ding...and thanks, alvin, and thanks, DLV...never saw him in person...always like the early musicals, like, "Take Me Out To The Ball Game", and "On The Town"...
Sir Stan, now just Light a cigar, Pour a little Cabo-Wabo(or even Jose CuerVO), Lower the lights . . . and Listen to " I GOT A WOMAN, CRAZY FOR ME " or "Dancin' In the Dark" it's heaven, Sir ! Nobody, nohow, no way can sing like that ! (except Frank Jr., oh yeah!) That's why at the tender age of 17, he was called the Voice!
LCC -- now, read the specifics in my caveat re FS. 17 somewhat preceded the COTB persona that lost me. (And keep the Cuervo -- make mine Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Caol Isla, or Talisker.) :-)
