Unfortunately, I know the feeling. My mother and computers is like Bush and anything: She thinks she knows, but she doesn't know. Wonder how long before Britney's kid is singing this same lament? (And better than she can?)

She likes to think she knows it all when it comes to computers but when she says "trust me I know this" I'm like "uhm, no you're assuming" and most often she isn't being specific enough when she gives her computer theories lol. She's mixing terms up left and right and I end up having to teach her the difference between her e-mail inbox and outbox and show her the send button lol.
Hopefully my mom's tech savvy enough that this won't happen to me.
My mother made me do a virus scan and it ruined my entire iTunes playlist that had many Peter Schilling songs on it and 2 songs by The Cure and I was planning to copy those songs on to a CD and the virus scan destroyed all my hard work when I went to go and play it! So yes, I do know how you feel when hard work is destroyed for some time!

Jesus Christ! Almost all of my parodies have swear words in them; it is part of their charm. Never has one been taken down. I do not *ever* write on sexual topics, which is what censors take parodies down for. Get over it. Love, SV.

I know the feeling. I had a HUGE research project due. I woke up the morning it was due and went to the computer to print it out, only to find my mom reloading the hard drive. I looked for my project after she was done, and found she had put it in the recycle bin! AAAAH! But I was in sixth grade and my mom called my teacher and explained. Fortunately, she understood. Anyway, it was really good. Rock on!

You inspired me to do a parody to this song about the horrible memory of seventh grade, when my know it all older brother, who messes around with the computer frequently, deleted my huge project, which was due the next day. Awesome parody, Starlette Victory! :D I sympathize with what happened to you. Parents,eh? My mom never did anything to my computer or my projects, etc but she has messed up her own computer and had to have it fixed, even though she claimed she knew what she was doing. Ehhhh x_x lol. I give you 555 for this parody. And to the people who are offended by the "swearing", get over it. It's not like she said anything more than 'damn' or 'hell', and if she did, so what?
Actually, she used the word "sh*t" (moderators won't let me say the real thing anymore =(... oh well) but I've used the F word before and none of my parodies have gotten pulled.
